Scott Cavallo, founder and co-owner of THE WELDING SHOP, grew up in Cloverdale and graduated from Cloverdale High School and Santa Rosa Junior College. He has been involved in building for many years, and founded THE WELDING SHOP in 2001. The firm began as a one-man operation in 1,000 square feet, and is now operating from a 4,800 square-foot modern shop, with five employees. Scott is continually refining and expanding his skills and education, and is now training in computer-drafting at a local college.

Susie Eddinger Cavallo grew up in the construction business. Her family owns Eddinger Enterprises, a general contracting firm in Healdsburg. Susie is a licensed Plumbing Contractor and handles bookkeeping and scheduling for Eddinger. She is responsible for record-keeping, bookkeeping, payroll and more at THE WELDING SHOP.

Scott devotes time to the community. He is a member of the North Coast Builders Exchange, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the Druids.
